Car history:
1969 Chevrolet Corvette. Owned since August of 1977. This is a numbers match car. The car has been off the road and garage stored since 1985. This car was my moms car but she passed away in October of 2007 and as executor I am having to sell some things to pay off estate debts, but if the reserve is not met we will keep the car since there is sentimental value at stake. My dad bought this car for my mom in 1977 and it was bought as you see in the photos except the paint was in better shape then. The fellow that had the car prior to my mom changed some things on the car because he hit an animal. He worked at a body shop and changed to the flared fenders and the 1973 front end and along with the cowl induction hood. He also dyed the seats and dash black, not sure why he did that. Originally the interior was solid blue. He also replaced the original carpet but it is still blue. The top is on the car but it will need to be replaced because it is in bad shape. The photos taken show the top down but the top was up while stored and was just put down to take the photos. The engine was rebuilt just before my mom bought the car, with added features. I drove the car several times when it was running and it was a very strong running car. It would easily get away from you if you weren't careful. I have not tried to start the car recently but I have checked and the engine is NOT locked up, a little carb work and it should fire up. Engine Pad number is 19S717470 V0211HW. Trim # is 411 976 paint. Transmission tag # is 3950356. 70,732 miles. June 16, 2008.
